Named one of the "Best Chocolates in America" by bon appétit Magazine, owner and chocolatier, Diana Malouf, started baking as a little girl. Ococoa was created as a way to showcase a few of the best qualities of her Middle Eastern heritage. Everyone is warmly invited to share in Diana's passion and enjoy Ococoa's fine confections. We were tasked with creating a new identity and design system to match the flavors of Ococoa's exquisite chocolates.
We didn't need a focus group to tell us that the Ococoa identity needed to be delicious and tantalizing. In addition, in our fashion, the identity needed to be clean – something that would entice their audience to taste these incredible chocolates and that would remain visually relevant for years to come. It was also important that the identity be simple, yet compliment the enriched flavor guide of Ococoa.
We successfully developed an identity for Ococoa that is simple, high-end and inviting. We developed all elements of the visual system, from color palettes, typography to iconography with graphical elements for on and offline execution, including website design, promotion e-mailers, tradeshow booths, banner ads, flavor guide book to product packaging.
